What is Skate Rush?

Skate Rush is a skateboard run through the streets of a city at night, past neon signs, street lamps and building sites. The skater rolls forward on his own, faster and faster: you decide when to jump, when to grind the rails and when to risk a kickflip. Tricks in a row boost your multiplier, but one landing without a trick resets it. A run is short; beating your best score is not.

How to play

• Tap the screen, click or press space to ollie; hold to jump higher.
• Land on rails and benches to grind: you earn points as long as you slide.
• In the air, tap again, swipe up or press the up arrow for a kickflip: it's worth 100 points times the multiplier, but it must be finished before you land.
• Each trick and each grind raises the multiplier by 1; landing on the ground without a trick takes it back to x1.
• You have 3 helmets: hitting cones, barriers or the side of rails and benches, or landing during a kickflip, costs a helmet.
• If you fall into a gap or lose all your helmets the game ends. Points: 1 per metre plus tricks.

Tips

• Jump early in front of rails: you need to come down on top of the bar, not crash into it.
• Do the kickflip right after take-off, so it has time to spin before you land.
• Hold down to clear gaps: a short tap isn't always enough.
