Privacy policy

Notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. Last updated: 28 October 2026

In short: you don't need to register to play on MagnetoGames.com and we don't ask for any personal data. Today the site shows no ads and uses no profiling cookies or third-party analytics. Game scores stay only in your browser. We process the technical data needed to run the site and the data you send us if you write to us.

1. Data controller

2. What data we process

Browsing data. The Cloudflare servers hosting the site receive the technical data of every request (IP address, browser, page requested, date and time), needed to show the pages and protect them from abuse. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying visitors.
Game scores and settings. Best scores and settings are saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage): they never reach us and you can delete them whenever you like in your browser settings.
Game ratings. To rate a game (1 to 5 stars) we ask for an email address only to send you a confirmation code, so that each person votes only once. Your email is neither published nor stored: after the code is sent we keep only an anonymous, irreversible fingerprint (which cannot be traced back to the address) together with the rating. Rating is reserved for people aged 14 or over, or for a parent.
Data you send us. If you use the contact form we process your name, email and message only to reply to you.

3. Legal basis and purposes

Browsing data: legitimate interest in running and protecting the site (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Messages: steps taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b). We don't do any profiling and we don't sell data.

4. Who we share it with

Cloudflare, Inc. (site hosting, anti-spam check and sending contact form emails) and the provider of the service that sends the email with the rating code (it receives only the address and the code), appointed as data processors, with transfers outside the EU covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. No other recipients.

5. How long we keep it

Browsing data: a few days at most in Cloudflare's technical logs. Messages: for the time needed to reply and in any case no longer than 24 months.

6. Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data and object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR) using the contact form. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

7. Children

The games are suitable for all ages and don't require any personal data. The contact form is only for people aged over 14 (Art. 2-quinquies of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003); younger children can ask a parent.

8. Changes

When advertising or the subscription arrive, we will update this notice before switching them on and ask for consent where required.
