What is Snake?

Snake is the snake game made famous by 1990s mobile phones: you guide a snake that gets longer with every piece of fruit it eats. The bigger it grows, the harder it is not to crash into the edges or into your own tail. The speed goes up as you score.

How to play

• Change direction with the arrow keys (or W A S D) or by swiping.
• Each piece of fruit is worth 1 point and makes the snake longer.
• Every 5 pieces of fruit the snake speeds up.
• The game ends if you hit the edge or your own body.

Tips

• Move along the edges when the snake is long, to keep the middle free.
• Don't head straight for the fruit: think about how you'll get out after eating it.
