History Quiz

What is History Quiz?

The History Quiz travels through the centuries: ancient Egypt, Rome, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the great explorations, the unification of Italy and space exploration. Each question has four answers and an explanation that helps you remember dates and people. Perfect for reviewing while you play, alone or with two players.

How to play

• Each game has 10 random questions; each has 4 answers and only one is right.
• You have 15 seconds to answer: tap or click the answer, or press keys 1 to 4.
• A right answer is worth 100 points plus a speed bonus (up to 100); with 3 right answers in a row points are worth one and a half times, with 5 in a row double.
• After each answer a short explanation appears: tap it to go straight to the next question.
• Two players: take turns answering, 10 questions each; whoever scores more wins.

Tips

• Read all four answers before choosing: often two can be ruled out right away.
• The explanations after each question help you remember: questions come back in later games.
