What is Magnet Merge?

Magnet Merge is a merge game with real physics, the fifth in MagnetoGames' Magnet series: a little crane with a claw holds the next magnetic buddy, a round character with big eyes; move it left and right by dragging your finger or the mouse, or with the arrow keys, and drop it into the glass jar, where it bounces, rolls and settles on the others. When two matching buddies touch, they merge into the next level with a burst of sparks and a magnetic zap: from Spark to Dot, Spring, Dice, Propeller, Dynamo, Copper, Chrome, Night and Supernova, up to the giant crowned Mega Magnet. Pole buddies, with a red or blue ring, pull nearby matching buddies and help you build merge chains; the rare lightning bolt merges any buddy it touches. The bigger the merge, the more points you score, and chain merges from the same drop multiply your points with the combo. Watch the red line: if the pile stays above it for 2 seconds, the jar is full and the game is over. Every day there's the Daily Jar, with the same sequence of buddies for everyone in the world and only one attempt that counts: compare your points and the level you reached, and share your result with emoji. How to play

• The crane at the top of the jar holds the next magnetic buddy: move it left and right by dragging your finger, moving the mouse or with the arrow keys (A/D, controller D-pad).
• Lift your finger, click or press Space, Enter, Down arrow or A on the controller: the buddy drops into the jar and bounces with real physics. The dotted line shows where it lands.
• Two matching buddies that touch merge into the next level: Spark, Dot, Spring, Dice, Propeller, Dynamo, Copper, Chrome, Night, Supernova and Mega Magnet (11 levels). Two Mega Magnets together make SUPER MEGA and vanish for 5,000 points.
• Every merge scores points, more for bigger levels; chain merges from the same drop (one after another, within just over a second) make a combo and multiply your points up to ×3. Every Mega Magnet is worth 1,000 bonus points.
• Pole buddies have a red or blue ring and gently pull nearby matching buddies; the rare lightning bolt merges the first buddy it touches, taking it to the next level.
• The «Next» box shows which buddy comes after the one in the claw.
• If the pile stays above the red line for 2 seconds, the jar is full and the game is over; the jar glows red first to warn you.
• Daily Jar: the same sequence of buddies, poles and lightning bolts for everyone in the world; only your first attempt of the day counts (even if you reload the page), then you can replay it for fun; a new jar arrives at midnight (UTC).
• Free play: an ever-changing sequence; your best score is saved on this device.
• Share your result: the game prepares a short text with your points, the highest level reached and a row of level emoji to send to friends; it doesn't send any data.

Tips

• Keep the big buddies on one side and the small ones on the other: chain merges happen on their own.
• Check the «Next» box before you drop: that way you know where to make room for the next buddy.
• Don't leave a small buddy trapped under the big ones: it gets hard to reach.
• Drop pole buddies next to matching buddies: they pull them in and make them merge even if they don't touch right away.
• Play the Daily Jar every day to grow your streak.
